“I killed my baby. God will never forgive me.” He howled after palming his face. Neyonika was also crying, staring down at him helplessly. She knelt down in front of him.
“I killed my baby.” He sobbed, gazing at his mother like a helpless kid. He was in extreme pain after killing his baby with his own hand.
She clasped his face and shook her head. “No, Manik. You saved your wife. It was right. Your baby will come back to you soon. You haven’t done anything wrong.” She tried to make him understand. He sobbed, looking at her, distressed.
“How could you?” Nandini’s voice startled them and they widened their eyes in shock. They immediately swept their eyes towards the door where she was crying and staring at her husband in disbelief. He hastily stood up and rushed to her.
As he opened his mouth to say something, she shrieked and stopped him by showing her hand. “Don’t, don’t say anything.” She was glaring at him in fury. His heart was sinking as for the first he was seeing hatred in her eyes for him. He had never thought that one day he would see hatred for himself in his Angel’s eyes.
“I’ll never forgive you for this, Manik. Never.” She bawled at him with rage and darted to her room, crying bitterly. She was badly hurt after knowing this truth. She was hating him and it was killing her from inside.
He rushed behind her. He didn’t want the truth to come out like this in front of her.
He stepped into the room and raised his brows in shock with fright as he saw her putting her clothes into the luggage. He strode over her.
“Angel, please, listen to me,” As he held her arm, she pushed him away with outrage.
She shouted at him loudly. “I don’t want to listen anything. You killed our baby, Manik. You’re a murderer and I can’t stay with the murderer of my baby.” He dejectedly squeezed his eyes and clenched his fist after hearing her words which were filled with hatred. Today she was not his Angel, she was a mother who had lost her baby.
“I was trying hard to protect my baby, but I couldn’t protect my baby from his father.” She gave him disgusting look.
“I know, I did wrong, but I did this for you, Angel. I was dying from inside wondering what would happen to you if you continue this pregnancy.” He was trying to explain her and she was packing her bags. “I took this step big step because I didn’t want to lose you, Angel. I really love you and I’ll always choose you.” She closed the zip of her bag and glared at him in anger.
“You’ve already lost me, Manik. A wife can forgive her husband for this crime, but not a mother. I’ll never forgive you for this, Manik. Never.” She shook her head, glaring at him. He was crying and pleading her to don’t go through his eyes.
She picked up her bag from the bed. “You’ve finished everything between us, Manik. I hate you.” She darted out of the room with the bag. He hastily ran behind her. He couldn’t let her go like this. She couldn’t end everything like this.
“Angel, I’m sorry. I did this for you. Please, don’t go. Please, try to understand me. It wasn’t easy for me, but I did this for you, Angel, because I don’t want to lose you. I love you. Please, forgive me. I had to other option to save you.” He was walking behind her and begging for forgiveness.
That time Zoya and Adi were having dinner with Muskan. They came to the hall after listening to them. Neyonika also came there and she was shocked to see Nandini leaving like this. She rushed to stop her. She couldn’t let her daughter go.
Manik was crying, standing behind her. Neyonika tried to explain her after coming in front of her. “Nandini, please, don’t go like this. You have to understand that it was needed. Your life was in danger.”
“No, Mom, I’m sorry, but I can’t stay here anymore because you all have snatched my baby from me. You all are the culprit of my baby.” She glared at everybody, crying in agony and dashed out of the house. Her mind was only thinking about her baby who is no more with her and the reason was her family, therefore she was hating them. She wasn’t in the right state of mind to understand them. She was shattered after losing her baby. She was in deep pain and her mind was only thinking about her baby. She wasn’t thinking about the father of the baby who had also lost his baby. It wasn’t easy for him, but he did this for her because he loved her a lot.
He was crying silently, staring at the door. He had never thought that one day his Angel would hate him and would leave him like this. He was utterly shocked and tears were trickling down his cheeks mechanically. His heart was aching painfully. It was like a nightmare for him. He was utterly shattered. He was feeling like the whole world is collapsing down in front of his eyes. His Angel hated him. His Angel left him. After a moment, he slumped down on the floor and cried hysterically in grief. He was devastated after losing his baby and his wife both. He needed her at this time.
“Mumma, ka hua? Chachi aise ku chali gye? (Mumma, what happened? Why chachi left like this?)” Muskan asked from her mother innocently, she was in her arm.
“Take her to the room.” Zoya was shedding silent tears, looking at Manik. As Adi asked Zoya to take Muskan to the room, she moved her eyes at him and nodded her head.
She took her to her room and Muskan said. “Musu ko bitul acha nhi laga, kuki Chachi ne mele chachu ko rulaya. (Musu didn’t like this because she made my chachu cry.)”
“Chachi is vely bad.” As Muskan uttered this, Zoya cut her words.
“Musu, chachi is not bad. She’s angry. She will come back soon.” She explained to her, sitting on the bed with her.
“No, she’s bad. She made my chachu cry.” She rebuked.
Outside Neyonika was trying to console her shattered son. She was sitting on the floor, hugging him in her warm arms. He was badly crying in his arms. “She hates me, Mom. She hates me. I did this for her, but I lost her. She will never forgive me.” He was sobbing like a baby in his mother’s arms.
“She will understand you, Manik. It just that she is not in the right state of mind. She will forgive you. Give her some time.” She was rubbing his back and crying with her son. Her sorrowful screams were breaking her heart. Adi was also shedding silent tears, seeing his brother’s condition.
So, what do you think, will she forgive her husband?
